Heijmat unveils the transformative EP ‘Echoes of Solace’

Heijmat, a project spearheaded by multi-platinum award-winning mixing engineer Huub Reijnders, has become an outlet for electronic music design that defies the limits of imagination into dynamic pieces that have earned praise across the industry.

It’s not surprising, then, that the latest Heijmat release, Echoes of Solace, is a four-track EP that is undeniable for the talent it shares. The control over the soundscapes allows for dynamic and transformative journeys; from visceral darkness and reserved bizarreness into vibrant and shimmering euphoria.

The collaborations with LudoWic, Naber and KW Toering all leave an imprint of expertise. They subtly change the atmosphere but are rooted in the same cohesive world-building vision.

It’s electronic design in its most impressive category, conveying the ineffable and imposing vast narratives into a sonic exploration

The artist explains, “2024 has been quite turbulent on a personal level, and I think that’s reflected in the music on this second EP. It’s quite dark at times, but always with hope going through and I must say I’m really happy with what came out of that musically.

I think the music is both intense and soothing, but most of all emotionally charged and authentic. It’s also a bit more organic than my previous work, and I feel that’s a direction I want to explore more in the future.”
