Holler release fresh new single ‘Corner Store’

Four-piece indie outfit Holler have opened for the likes of Corella, Coach Party and Swim School, growing anticipation around the band as they progress into releasing new material. They’ve seen acclaim from tastemaker publication and radio and hope to only continue their growth.

Their latest release is ‘Corner Store’ a fresh and bright track, with alluring melodies and gorgeous instrumentation. Electric guitars, drums, bass and a gentle synth hum are all locked in together, each one backing up the vocal performance with elegance and poignance. The vocals themselves are gentle and earnest, lifted up by the energy of the rest of track whilst still maintaining a steadfast restraint. Silky, warm and wistful, it balances emotive and catchy from start to finish.

On the track, the band share, “This track was the first step in a new direction for us. I first started writing this song back at my family home, in my old bedroom, on my first ever acoustic guitar – I had no idea how this track would transform once I took it to the rest of the band. It is certainly a very personal song for me, but I also feel it has a sense of relatability to it. We are all incredibly proud of this track.”
