Indira Ellis unveils the euphoria-drenched ‘Miracle’

Indira Ellis is an NYC-based songstress who has transformed from a classically trained singer and musical theatre performer to a spellbinding pop rising star. She writes about the highs and lows of discovering herself and accepting who she is becoming, bringing an innate relatability to every word.

Opening up the track with an ethereal synth pad, delicate piano chords and Indira’s soft vocal fragility. Once the tone is set, the drum arrives with a drill influence, the sliding 808s, snares, and hat bounce all would feel right at home in a more aggressive and darker track, but Indira commands it as atmosphere.

She captures euphoria and sensual intentions with gorgeous vocal layers and slick pop infectiousness. Indira always manages to blend genre and defy categorisation, but this track is a particularly good example of her refining talent.

She adds, “I wrote this song about what it’s like to be swept off your feet by a beautiful stranger. It’s daunting to fall head over heels for someone when you can’t even figure out if you like them or if you just want to be like them. Either way, you know you want to spend more time with them.”
