Introducing thea wang with her captivating debut ‘Tell Me About It’

Launching today, Norway’s thea wang reveals her stunning debut single ‘Tell Me About It’. The dream-like pop gem is layered with thea’s wistful vocals, over a calming, semi-acoustic sonic soundscape. No stranger to the stage, thea has already toured with the likes of SIGRIS, Konradsen and August Kann.
Talking about the new song, thea says: “‘Tell Me About It’ is about growing up and letting go. It is about those times when you’re not sure of who you are anymore, and you need someone or something to help you remember. It’s about becoming, belonging, and about looking back and forward at the same time. Sometimes it is a place you have to go to, and sometimes it’s talking to someone that knows you well. Carrying all the “ages” you’ve been inside.”
thea comes from an extremely musical family that consists of a bass playing father, a singing mother, and the producer and artist of her brother and sister. Originally from Bergen, thea has performed in many jazz and pop circles in recent years like the experimental pop-duo of Daiisy, before moving to Copenhagen, Denmark, where she now hopes to release her debut album despite recent issues with vocal injuries.
We predict big things for this brand new artist, so watch this space.
