James Keegan is a brand new artist on the Irish scene who had already made his mark prior to his first release. A couple of radio shows and backing from Irish cult hero Damien Dempsey puts him well on his way to making an imprint on the pop circuit.
Like Dermot Kennedy who came before him, James is a man with a guitar against the world, but with a twist. Subtle musical nuances in his music makes the singer-songwriter an interesting listen for sure.
‘Learning to Smile’ is a great example of a debut track, for any new artists reading this. It sends a positive message which really hits home in the chorus, helped by the fact that it sounds huge!
