Following the success of his latest singles, Jared Harper has returned with a new release ‘All for Me’. The Alt-Rock effort continues the momentum that he built, with guitars that build the rhythm, allowing the drum patterns to be more inventive rather than just a simple beat. This showcases Harper’s understanding of songwriting, especially within Alt-Rock where it is essential to do things differently, relying on tension and emotion to make the song so great.
Beyond the musicality showcased, Harper’s lyricism is imperative too. It is a summer anthem, one which reminds you to take the most of every opportunity and to have fun with friends. This, obviously, resonates particularly in 2021. Through this combination of musicality and lyricism, it is no surprise that his career has gone from strength to strength and will continue to grow exponentially. Through his success on The Voice he created a base, but through a succession of well written rock songs, he has ensured that he used the momentum, which ‘All for Me’ definitely carries on.
