Jude the Obscure delivers blissful melodies in his new EP and title track ‘Moments’

Singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Jude the Obscure has released his debut EP and title track ‘Moments’ today. The South Manchester based artist keeps things soothing and mellow, with each of the four tracks offering up a fusion of modern soul, neo-jazz and rap. Forging his own unique brand of genre-blending goodness, Jude’s sound is one that catches attention, and is quickly building him a loyal fanbase.

He explains: “‘Moments’ is about hard work; about overcoming the hurdles that life throws at you; about coming out on top in light of the hardships we face in our day to day lives. It’s an anthem of resilience and perseverance – surviving your early twenties with ambition, aspiration and sanity intact is no easy feat. One way or another, we all find ways to cope with what’s going on around us, now more than ever.”

The 24-year-old talent has seen glowing reactions to his offerings so far, with his string of self-releases in 2019 being featured on BBC Introducing, and securing spots on New Music Friday UK, Jazz UK and Fresh Finds at Spotify and On The Corner and Jazz Scene: UK at Apple, as well as support on Deezer and Amazon. With a wonderfully quirky musical niche, Jude the Obscure is making all the right moves, and continues to prove himself as an artist to watch.
