Jupiter Cubero was born in Spain but has lived in the US for most of their life.
They learned English quickly and fell in love with the words and sounds of it and because they already loved to sing, it only deepened their obsession.
They have been creating melodies and lyrics since they were at least eight, always unaware of it.
Their mom used to tell them to write it all down, but they never knew where to start until they learned to play the guitar.
For the past three years, they have been learning and practicing both the piano and the guitar, and writing songs on them.
They started with the same two chords every time until they began using a more poetic approach
Jupiter Cubero recently released ‘Slowly’, which delivers a gentle and calming instrumental melody.

“I don’t write songs to make them sound good necessarily.
I write songs when I feel. I write songs about specific emotions that sound like those emotions.
I write about people and places; anything I feel gets put to paper.
I feel like I’ve been doing it for so long now that building into something more seems natural, so I tried to learn audio production.”
Jupiter has always been trying to get better in the background, but once people started telling them that they felt less alone with my songs, they knew right away they were not going to stop.
