Back with his third release of the year, Keir drops his newest emphatic anthem ‘Boys Will Be Girls’. Delivering a flurry of uplifting soundscapes, ‘Boys Will Be Girls’ importantly demolishes stereotypes in its lyrics, as it carries an empowering mantra of freedom and fulfilment.
The feel-good track promotes aspirational freedom within gender, masculine beauty, cultural norms and our innate human bias, and prompts listeners to stop seeing division and to start embracing who we really are.
Keir explains, “Sometimes, it feels like we are a definite thing. For example, if you’re a boy there are so many ideas attached to that. Really though, who you are should just be who you are surely? It’s fun to shape-shift I think, it definitely makes you more free, in a way.”
With a history of impressive streams from his glowing back catalogue, Keir’s latest offering is arguably his best to date, and we have a feeling he still has a whole lot more to impress us with.
