KEKA shares soulful groove ‘Little Party’

Blending her British upbringing with Kosovar heritage, KEKA offers a new avenue for soul music, focussing on intimacy and relatability. Infusing the sounds of the Balkans is a fresh moment for the modern sound, something that empowers KEKA’s love and resilience. A presence behind the mic in the studio and on the stage, KEKA is an artist of talent and determination.

Bringing soulful vocals to a club classic with an extra sprinkle of originality, KEKA’s latest release is the new track ‘Little Party’. Glowing guitars, grooving bass lines and a sense of sultriness all converge on the grace of KEKA’s performance.

It’s a showcase of love for the music, KEKA finds joy in her words, but also brings plenty of authenticity as divulges her feelings into the atmosphere. It’s rich, funk-fuelled and excitable, balancing a laid-back feel with a singalong top line.

KEKA shares, “We wrote the record just by jamming with my manager and producer. I loved how the song gave off such a positive vibe, but also had that feeling of letting go. As I was humming and singing along, I started freestyling the lyrics and recording them in a voice memo.

Honestly, I was laughing while singing because it felt like I was venting my real feelings—feeling burnt out and tired of the routine, but still loving music. Sometimes, you just can’t take everything seriously, and you just want to party. So I decided to let loose and turn that whole freestyle into the song. The song has this happy energy that brings everything and everyone together, and it just makes me feel good.”
