Boundary-pushing audio-visual artist Klsr is back with the release of his latest work ‘YOU+’. Following the release of a string of mesmerizing singles this year, he keeps up his impressive creative form with yet another sonically charged work.
Lacing the soundwaves with his distinctive charm and authentic character, ‘YOU+’ continues the genre-defying approach that we have seen from Klsr throughout the year. Showcasing a masterful command of different sonic textures, the release comes emphatically armed with a soul-searching retrospect. Soothing melodies come juxtaposed with dynamic, cutting percussions to give the sound a euphoric, but unpredictable edge.
Speaking about the release, he explains, “YOU+ is about reflection and relationships: I produced this track to convey the importance of self-reflection and how this pushes you forward. Granular synthesis is a key part of the production, and the track focuses on the re-use and re-working of organic and digital samples”.
