Having dropped the glistening “Never Loved You” this past spring, the trio are back with their second single of the year, the hooky and heartfelt “Wait It Out”.

Breaking onto the scene with debut EP Headaches & Heartbreaks in late 2022 The Lucky announced their arrival with five heady tracks of thoughtful, sunny pop.

The California crew’ serotonin boosting, hook-laden soundscape is dealt a rich dexterity with influence from pop-punk, hip-hop, and alternative rock. Indeed, despite little over a year since their rookie effort, the former Berklee students have honed a sound that deftly marries intricate guitars with soaring injections of melody.

Following on from March’s “Never Loved You”, new single “Wait it Out” is a mesmerizing and dusky anthem from the West Coast outfit, nodding to contemporary emo-pop acts in the vein of Machine Gun Kelly and jxdn, whilst delivering bountiful pop sensibility.
