Love Ghost and RAYBEN reveal synth-driven anthem ‘Dear Boy’

There aren’t many artists with a discography as eclectic as Love Ghosts. Constantly collaborating, the band, led by songwriter Finnegan Bell, has stayed on the cutting edge of music innovation, charging up audiences both in the studio and on stage. As Finn continues to work in Mexico with some of the greatest new Latin artists, Love Ghost sees growing worldwide support that can’t be ignored.

Love Ghost’s latest track comes in collaboration with Mexican singer-songwriter, DJ and producer RAYBEN, whose masterful vocals and synthetic production influence combine with Love Ghost’s emo-tinged, love-drenched and alternative style for a unique final product.

Crafting an intricately spacey atmosphere and bending it into pulsating rhythms, the pair utilise energised percussion, dark synth design and a thumping 808 bass to walk the line between infectious pop and melodic hip-hop.

Finn shares, “Dear boy came together effortlessly. Upon meeting Rayben, she had amazing energy and I felt like we intuitively just “got” each other. We knew exactly the type of song we wanted to make. Dear Boy is Baz Luhrman’s Romeo and Juliet but with more of a SoundCloud mix. We’re very excited to share this one.”
