Good Morning Bedlam are an indie folk trio from Minneapolis.

Their line up consists of Isaak Elker (Guitar/Vocals), Victoria Elker (Bass/Vocals) and Sophia Mae (Violin/Vocals).

While folk is greatly their primary genre, with use of instruments such as fiddle, three-quarter bass, banjo and acoustic guitar along with great lyrical storytelling, Good Morning Bedlam enjoys pulling from other genres such as pop, rock, and even jazz.

The trio recently released their latest single ‘Lulu’, which is also the title track of their 11 track album that is due for release in early 2022.

‘Lulu’ begins with a delightfully upbeat melody that branches out into musical bliss, thanks to the unique vocal stylings and harmonies that mesmerize our senses.

There is also something hauntingly beautiful in the way the instruments blend together to create a truly stirring arrangement.

The song then concludes with a grandiose orchestral performance before switching back to a simple and mellow score.

Isaak explains that ‘Lulu’ “is about giving up dreams that are no longer serving you anymore, and in doing so opening yourself up to things you couldn’t imagine.”

The track sits comfortably next to songs from Damien Rice, Aisha Badru and Adam Melchor.
