Hailing from Uguta Obudi Agwa in Imo State, Nigeria, this dynamic collective channels the raw beauty of rain and the gentle flow of stream water cascading from rock into an Afro House masterpiece that’s as healing as it is electrifying.
Focus isn’t just an album, it’s a movement. Inspired by what the band calls “universal supreme intelligence,” Maccalily Generals weave a sonic tapestry designed to uplift mankind, spread love, and ignite peace across the globe. Each track pulses with a purpose: to heal hearts, elevate minds, and fill listeners with gladness and joy. “We were inspired to create songs that will heal the hearts of many,” the band shares, hinting at the transformative power packed into this release. Rooted in Afro House, Focus showcases the Generals’ versatile musical palette, blending shades of Afro hip-hop, Afro trap, Afro reggae, and Afro R&B into a sound that’s uniquely their own.
