Toronto-based alt-pop artist magenta returns with her stunning 4-track EP, ‘Angel’ — a deeply personal exploration of young queer love, vulnerability, and hope. Known for her emotionally raw songwriting and dreamy soundscapes, magenta delivers a collection of songs that feel both intimately personal and universally relatable, solidifying her place among rising alt-pop talents like Phoebe Bridgers, Gigi Perez, and Jeremy Zucker.

The EP’s standout single, ‘don’t mess with her hope’, serves as its emotional centerpiece. “This track is the last piece of the story of my EP Angel,” magenta shares. “It’s about protecting the person you love — holding on to hope, even when things feel fragile. I hope listeners can connect with the music and that it gives them hope in love, as this relationship has given me.”
