Producer Manuel Garay has crafted refreshing indie-pop vibes on his latest single ‘Ready’ featuring Mariami. His sleek, genre-bending production features unique, irresistible melody lines and dynamic trap beats. The chorus is padded out with colourful synths, all fusing together to provide the perfect complement to Mariami’s celestial voice.
Discussing the release, Manuel says: “This song was written after a digital meetup through ‘soundbetter’. Mariami and I actually never met but I discovered her music through ‘soundbetter’, requested her to work with me and she did (very happy about that). I tried to write something that maintains the current trap vibe along with her angelic vocals. Although the song structure is pop, I think that this song is going towards a new direction.”
Hailing from Munich, Manuel Garay established a name for himself amongst the German electronic scene when he toured with his previous act ‘Cocolores’.
