Introducing emerging artist Pablo Hinchey and his second major single of 2025, ‘Mar de Errantes‘ (Ocean of Wandering) , a soothing balm as we await the end of winter. Composed at home with just a guitar, Pablo describes it as a personal catharsis, encouraging listeners (much like Dory from Finding Nemo says) to “just keep swimming,” even when the path ahead is unclear. Raw vocals and comforting chords stand out in this track, reminding fans of Pablo’s impressive songwriting skills while reinforcing its central message — that everything will be okay in the end. With this song, Pablo hopes to offer support to those feeling exhausted or discouraged, “As a doctor, I love knowing that my music might help even just one person. That alone makes it worthwhile,” he shares. If you’re looking for solace from a new and promising artist, look no further than PabloHinchey and his track ‘Mar de Errantes’, now available on all streaming platforms.
Pablo Hinchey, the artistic name of Pablo Vázquez, is a Spanish singer-songwriter born in Huelva in 1995. His nickname “Hinchey” stems from his parallel career as a general surgeon at the 12 de Octubre Hospital in Madrid, where he revamped the protocol for treating diverticulitis, inspired by the well-known Hinchey classification. The fusion of his passions for music and medicine has shaped a unique identity that bridges two seemingly opposite worlds, setting him apart from his peers.
Since the age of five, Pablo has been immersed in music, influenced by iconic bands and artists such as Oasis, Nirvana, Leiva, Extremoduro, and M-Clan. His first performances were for friends, later filling venues and theaters in his hometown of Huelva, and eventually performing in Seville during his years studying medicine. Now based in Madrid, he balances his residency as a surgeon with songwriting and music production. Pablo’s musical style navigates Pop, Pop Rock, and Soul but also delves into diverse genres such as Britpop, reggae, flamenco, and Catalan rumba. Refusing to be confined to a single sound, he creates a versatile repertoire designed to accompany every emotional state. His work reflects a deep belief that, like medicine, music has the therapeutic power to heal what other treatments cannot. With a strong commitment to continued creation, Pablo is gearing up for the release of his next single ‘Mar de Errantes’, accompanied by a music video set to debut on February 29, and a full album expected by the end of the year. From the operating room to the stage, Pablo Hinchey continues to channel his passion for life and music, striving to touch listeners’ emotions with the same positive impact that music has had on him.
