Mauritian composer, producer and pianist Rahul Suntah gives us a special performance of the 2023 hit ‘Cupid’, originally by Fifty Fifty using a piano and a launchpad.
Rahul Suntah has given ‘Cupid’ more of an upbeat feel as he uses looping to add instrumental layers to the popular K-Pop song, with the beautiful piano arrangement and the catchy beats the song now sounds a lot more jazzier.
Biography
Rahul Suntah is a Mauritian composer, music producer and pianist based in the UK who has attracted over 60,000 followers and over 5 million total views on the internet after posting breath-taking piano covers of popular hits and releasing his debut EP ‘Piano Stories’ being featured on popular platforms such as BBC, ITV, Classic FM and Pianist Magazine.
Learning the piano at the young age of 8 in Mauritius, Rahul studied ABRSM Piano and Music Theory at the Frederic Chopin Conservatory of Music and carried on with a bachelor’s in Music Technology at UWE Bristol followed by a master’s in Film Scoring at the University of Bristol graduating in 2021.
