milk. impress on their brand new single ‘I Hate the Way You’re Looking at Me (Lately)’

Dublin based four-piece milk. return with their sparkling new single ‘I Hate the Way You’re Looking at Me (Lately)’. Their brand of alternative pop is infused with sprinkles of subdued RnB and electronic production, making for a sound that is magically enticing. The track glimmers with uplifting guitar riffs and vibrant synth, is coated in soothing, indie-style vocals, and harbours an overall mellow, charming tone.

Discussing their newest offering, the band said: “Although Mark had some of the lyrics already written, the song was fleshed out the first time we were all allowed to be in a room together since the start of lockdown. We recorded it with our good friend Adam Redmond in Flaked Studios. The track details the complexity of relationships – the difficult conversations and uncomfortable truths.”

Band members Mark McKenna, Conor Gorman, Conor King and Morgan Wilson launched their collective musical project in 2019, and have since been storming their way to success, finding themselves on notable Spotify playlists such as New Music Friday UK, Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds: Indie, Hot New Bands, and many others, as well as receiving praise from tastemakers including CLASH, Earmilk, DORK, Coup de Main, Nialler9 and Hot Press. The band are a true gem amongst the Irish music scene and beyond, and with a blindingly bright future ahead, they are a name to remember.
