Monticolombi is getting summer started with new single ‘Praise’

Rising artist Monticolombi returns with his fourth single, offering a summery soundscape on feel-good track ‘Praise’. Opening with shimmering electric piano, the song erupts into a funky groove guided by dreamy melodies and buoyant bass. Monticolombi delivers a unique song structure, infusing neo-soul influences into his refreshing brand of hip-hop.

Speaking about his new release, Monticolombi says: “The Inspiration for this tune actually just comes from good memories of blissful summers drinking 7-40-7’s in the sun not having a care in the world.”

Suffolk based Monticolombi began his career as frontman of soul and hip-hop collective Soul Stretch Gang, before a rare disease forced him to take some time out from music to recover. Returning as solo project Monticolombi, with a new sound and a forward-thinking outlook on life, his October single ‘Pavement’ was made track of the week on BBC Introducing Suffolk, and the best is yet to come from this exciting new talent.
