Namor Releases Debut Album Mile High Club

NAMOR

Roman Shokuri or “Namor” is an independent artist from California who started by writing and producing songs for others. He is now ready to embrace a career as a singer on his own with the release of Mile High Club.

The album features a synth-driven pop influence with heavy dance and electronic elements. It opens with “Welcome to The Mile High Club”, introducing this elite futuristic club in the sky. The album narrates the tale of a young man and woman who meet and engage with each other at The Mile High Club. The different voices featured in the album all symbolize the same two individuals, with male artists’ voices representing the male character and female voices representing the female character. At the start of the album, the music is lively and enthusiastic, but as it progresses into the second half, it adopts a more somber and downcast mood. While two songs are vocally performed exclusively by Namor, he collaborated with Tucker Starbuck, LifeonMarzz, Lea Fromm, and Calypso Carbon from the group “House Of Carbon” on the others.

Overall, “Mile High Club” is an album suited to everyone with different songs that can please everyone’s tastes and showcases Namor’s strengths as a singer, producer and songwriter.
