Nature TV hails from Brighton and has become a rising star across the UK, now venturing out across the Atlantic to perform sold-out shows across the US. Radio play, editorial praise and press features, their position as self-diagnosed ‘heartbreak salesmen’ is clearly connecting with the masses as they start their latest release schedule with teasers for a debut album.
Unlucky For Some is due out in May, but the latest of their singles from the project is ‘Aways It Goes’, out this week! Even in the first moments, there’s something breezy and charming in the tone of just the guitar, quickly joined by grooving bass, tight drums and a natural vocal tone. The soulful indie crossover is warm and glowing, lifting you up without a need for short-term energy, just a gradual rise.
Vocalist Guy dives in, “This track is all about reflection. It’s about looking back and having a conversation with yourself about where things ended up for you and how things might have played out differently. Thinking if you had made different choices,or held on to someone else, instead of just letting go of some of the things that you’ve lost, things that could or maybe should have been different. But you’ve made your bed and now you’ve got to lie in it. It’s about making the most of where things are.”
