Riverside Music TV continues to spotlight top talent with their interview/studio session crossovers, and this time around, it’s the turn of Pistol Daisys. It follows a 2024 and early year that saw RMTV feature Callum Beattie, Kyle Falconer and BEMZ, more of the most exciting talents coming out of Scotland.
In this exclusive, Pistol Daisys deliver two performances, ‘Crying in Marseille’ and ‘Saint Glasgow. ’ They start with a short interview, going through their history and describing how they arrived at the unbridled genre-bending they now accomplish.
Showcasing intense, fuzzy synths within a blend of pop, Americana and alternative vibes. The guitar brings both funky rhythms and riotous intention. In short, it’s a fresh sound masterclass, something brand new with something innately nostalgic. Both tracks are soaring anthems, personal and universal at the same time. RMTV is highlighting another star in the making.
Pistol Daisys have quickly gained traction in the underground scene since its 2023 formation. Sharing in the interview, “When it was just the two of us, our songs were more singer-songwriter-like – akin to a sort of Americana blended with folk-rock. Once the three of us started getting together and making music, we just found this raspy pop edge, much like a Blondie-enthused Dolly Parton that gave us this unique sound and approach.”
RMTV, hosted at Riverside Studios, continues to provide a great platform for both emerging and established artists, so stay tuned for more!
