Noah Bouchard releases the somber single ‘Sometimes’

Born Dominic Noah Bouchard Watson, though better known by his stage name, Welsh alternative hip-hop artist Noah Bouchard is recognised for his lyrically focused tales of vulnerability. Lauded with features on the likes of BBC Radio 1xtra, BBC Radio Wales, Reprezent Radio and Unity Radio, and Spotify editorial features on Fresh Finds UK & IE and New Music Friday UK.

Also backed by performances at BBC6 Music Fringe Festival, National Lottery’s #ReviveLive Tour, Hub Festival and Focus Wales Festival and a selection for 2023’s Youth Music Next Generation Fund have cemented Noah as one to watch as the year progresses.

Most recently, Noah arrived with a fresh new single entitled ‘Sometimes’, following the success in late 2023 with ‘Swan Song’. A sombre piano lines wistful melodies, leaving plenty of room for reflection in Noah’s gentle vocal layers. Swaying lo-fi drums add a soft rhythm to the track, completing the overall ethereal atmosphere Noah can create. The track brings us ever closer to Noah’s debut album ‘Love Of My Live’, a project set to document his journey of self-acceptance.

Noah shares on ‘Sometimes’, “I wrote this song to encapsulate the feeling of loneliness, isolation and longing for human connection at a time when it felt like real life was far away. With the music video, we wanted to create a character stuck in the monotonous grind of life while struggling to fit in with the world around him. I’ve always loved Pixar films so making a music video in that kind of style has been a really fun process!”
