Oregon based three-piece Novacane have returned with their charming new single ‘Bad Breath’, offering nostalgic psych-pop that is injected with personal vulnerability. With bouncing melodies and kinetic percussion, the guitar-driven track features Americana-style influences in its infectious groove. The release is accompanied by a stylish music video which portrays the band on a road trip and mirrors the song’s old-school feeling.
Novacane is formed of high school friends Dylan Latimer (singer and guitarist), Oliver Lester (bassist) and Zach Clifton (drummer). They have spent the better half of the last decade meticulously crafting their own brand of indie pop, flooded with psychedelic soundscapes. Following the release of their last two projects Pretty Colours and Comfort Food, Novacane’s new track ‘Bad Breath’ is another indication of their bright future.
