As the world brims with uncertainty, NOCT, the brainchild of 23-year-old music producer Noor Harajli, emerges with a captivating new track titled “Everything is Ripe”. Blending the cultural influences of Brazil, Lebanon, and London, NOCT’s music offers a unique fusion of 2000s alternative-indie sounds and bossa nova rhythms, captivating audiences worldwide.
“Everything is Ripe” tells the tale of navigating through apathy and hopelessness, feeling ensnared in the relentless cycle of life’s routines. It’s a narrative that resonates deeply with the struggles of today’s youth, grappling with the urgency to seize fleeting moments of youthfulness amidst the chaos of life’s uncertainties.
“‘Everything is Ripe’ began as a jingle I used to hum when driving around my city at night. I’d cruise around to pass the time, and I found my thoughts doing the same– just wandering aimlessly. I would reflect on my life, my experiences, the redundancy of my routine, and the dismay of feeling unaccomplished. Looking ahead at the road, alone, meant that I was not distracted by, for instance, a screen or a friend. I feel like we often overlook the value of letting our mind wander,” shares Noor Harajli, the creative force behind NOCT.
With “Everything is Ripe”, NOCT invites listeners on a musical journey of renewal and reflection, urging them to confront the complexities of existence and find solace in the process of self-discovery. As the track resonates through the airwaves, it serves as a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is beauty to be found in embracing the ripeness of life’s ever-changing seasons.
