One of the punchiest supergroups to form in recent years is Prophets Of Rage. It’s basically the core of Rage Against The Machine, but without the inimitable Zach de la Rocha leading them. No matter though, as Prophets are fronted by the riotous duo of Chuck D of Public Enemy and B-Real of Cypress Hill. Their EP, The Party’s Over, came out last year, but this year they will return with their first full-length statement, a self-titled album coming out 15th September.
The first new single to be taken from Prophets Of Rage is ‘Radical Eyes‘, which ticks all the boxes you’d want from a song from this group: tumultuous and weird Tom Morello guitars, slinky Tim Commerford bass and in-your-face vocals from the duo of rappers. Listen to ‘Radical Eyes‘ below.
Prophets of Rage will also include the inflammatory single ‘Unfuck The World‘, that came with the controversial Michael Moore directed video.
