Formed in Ireland’s Ashbourne, Public Warning is a four-piece indie rock band that’s sold out shows across the country and been featured by a range of tastemakers. From humble talent show beginnings to a now distinctive and growing following, the band just dropped a debut EP, entitled Over/Under.

The new project is brimming with high-octane energy, the guitars centre stage for driving the music with infectious riffs with a classic indie tone. The lyrics are equally catchy, the vocals containing a nostalgic flair that jumps out from the speakers.

That’s not to discredit the range on the show with Over/Under, Public Warning knows how to keep the audience interested, switching up their style and tempo to pull you back in again and again.

They explain, “With Over/Under, we wanted to capture that in-between space—where you’re not who you were, but you’re not quite who you’re becoming yet. It’s about growing up, learning from mistakes, and figuring out what really matters in relationships and in life.”
