Public Warning roar through new single ‘Reckless’

Irish indie-rockers Public Warning formed in 2015, friends Adam O’Dea, JP Roche, Robbie Szpara and Mark Tuite taking on vocals, guitar, bass and drums respectively. Since their debut a few short years later, Public Warning has garnered a reputation for electrifying shows, selling out venues across Ireland whilst receiving interest from Spotify Editorial Playlists and commendations from radio.

The four-piece’s latest track provides another teaser into their forthcoming EP OVER/UNDER, ‘Reckless’ filling the atmosphere with a deep and driven alt-rock exuberance, filled with just enough indie brightness and raw emotional melancholy to set speakers alight. Finding their feet with accentuated drum rhythms and the unbridled guitar tones that balance a heavy chord foundation but also moments of a screaming lead line.

Frontman, Adam, shares, “Reckless tells the story of how suspicions and mistrust can tear down a relationship just as quickly and as violently as infidelity. While staying true to our indie-rock roots, Reckless sees us explore a heavier sound than on our previous singles, which you can expect more of on our upcoming EP “OVER/UNDER”. Reckless, along with the rest of our upcoming EP, was recorded in Jejune studios in Drogheda in 2024.”
