Last week saw the eagerly anticipated ‘Midnight’ EP by Reece Lemonius, a follow up to 2019’s four track project ‘Comfortable.’ Featuring moments of alt-R&B, funk, soul and melancholic pop, Reece brings a nostalgic haze to his upcoming offering. ‘Midnight’ is a generous seven tracks worth of visionary R&B, fueled with 80s synth, classic guitar and soulful vocals.
Reece’s music career has sprung from organic growth on Spotify; his debut single ‘Love Me’ went viral in 2018, garnering over 50 million streams across several platforms. From here, Reece was featured on popular playlists (‘Winter Chillout’ and ‘Top of the Morning’), and climbed viral charts in France, Germany and Austria. With impressive numbers preceding the release of his new EP, we can expect big things from his upcoming creations.
