Berkshire quintet Rila’s Edge has had an exciting 2024, seeing an uptick in their single success thanks to tracks like ‘Deal’ and support from Radio BBC Introducing and the music press. Alongside this, their live presence continues to grow, with sold-out headliners and non-stop support slots.

Their latest song is a bit of indie magic, bringing energised and dynamic guitar rhythms alongside singalong, anthemic vocals and a wistful but optimistic attitude.

‘Pimlico Road’ adds relatable lyricism to the mixture of fuzz and warmth you can feel the potential when their fanbase inevitably expands. It’s the kind of track everyone is waiting for in the setlist.

Ollie on guitar explains the new single, “Pimlico Road began as a voice note from my friend Rob Jones, guitar tech for artists like Miles Kane and Sea Girls. Rob is an incredible writer but without his own band, he often sends me song ideas—just a verse and chorus—from tour buses and greenrooms, and I flesh them out into demos. For this track, I was thinking about how cities like London can feel either magical or lonely, depending on who you’re with.
