Back with a dreamy and captivating new project, the latest from Sal Weston is new album ‘Miraculous Weekend’. 14-tracks over 50-minutes settle us in to an idyllic setting, spacious guitar melodies, pretty chords and well-placed soaring synth leads create a picturesque atmosphere full of glitter and sunshine. The kaleidoscope of sound is brought together by the drums and bass guitar, which bounce off each other, driving the tracks forward with effortless grooves. Vocal performances are dynamic, optimistic and joyful, becoming the final ingredient to a recipe that produces something nostalgic, yet distinctly modern and always catchy.
Weston shares on the project, “To be honest, I never thought I would get to the point where I would feel comfortable sharing these songs online, I started writing again because it felt really good, and it was another outlet for me to focus on to take my mind off the humdrumday to day routine I was in.”
