Now, the US-based artist has launched a new chapter in her career by way of “Ruins,” which sees her taking the reins as a solo artist. Produced by Henri Werner, who was selected as the winner in a music production contest Salvo ran on her social media channels, “Ruins” finds the singer and songwriter masterfully displaying her emotive style, while being the main creative force behind the steering wheel this time.
Driven by atmospheric and pensive production, “Ruins” features Salvo’s captivating voice in the forefront, as Henri Werner’s production moves from bass-heavy climaxes to emotional breaks. Released independently, the song is soon slated to be hosted on 3LAU’s Royal.io in a cutting-edge royalty investment program, alongside other artists such as Diplo, Tritonal, and Vérité, where fans will be able to invest in it for a portion of royalties derived from streaming, and become partners in its ownership.

“’Ruins’ is one of the first songs I’m releasing in which I had full artistic direction. I’ve been a topliner and feature artist for 5+ years, always writing vocals for others and catering to their ideas in dance music and EDM, and I love doing that! It’s given me the confidence and experience, but now it’s time for me to create something that really speaks to me personally, and hopefully to others as well, and to show how MY music sounds. Henri was obviously a big part of finding that as well. When I first heard his production, I almost immediately knew it was the one,” says Salvo in a press statement.
