Scott Helman releases masterpiece album ‘Nonsuch Park (sa)’

Named after his late grandfather’s local park in Sutton, UK, Canadian pop prodigy Scott Helman has released his new album ‘Nonsuch Park (sa)’. Featuring explosive hit singles ‘Wait No More’ and ‘Everything Sucks’, this album is eleven tracks worth of incredibly digestible pop. The production is nuanced, featuring shimmering synths and pulsing bass, whilst Scott’s mellifluous vocals depict authentic, compelling lyrics about critical social issues and emotive personal experiences. This is one of those golden albums that the whole world needs to hear.

Speaking of the place that inspired the album title, Scott says: “It was here where we would walk and cackle at awful jokes, lean in for the stories, make peace with our busy lives and draw meaning from the lessons we had learned since our last visit. If my past works have been displays of discovery, this work is a declaration – a declaration of love, meaning, questions and truth, and it is all dedicated to you, Papa. Thank you for helping me piece together the fragments of my life and giving me the space to do it.”

Scott Helman has made a name for himself as one of Canada’s most promising artists. Based in Toronto, the singer-songwriter has toured globally with Shawn Mendes and Vance Joy, as well as collaborating with Alessia Cara and Hunter Hayes amongst other esteemed names. Already collecting two platinum and three gold singles as well as five JUNO nominations, Scott Helman is poised for big things, and ‘Nonsuch Park (sa)’ proves why.
