Our favorite philanthropic rockers from Seattle are back with a summer love song for the ages. Last month, we shared the upbeat rocker, “She Loves Rock and Roll.” But this time, they toned it down, and in the process, added a male vocalist, simply named Sebatian.
“As we were working on the song, we thought we needed a male vocal that is stronger than any of us could deliver. We were looking for someone who is up and coming, and then we found Sebastian. He’s an amazing singer, and his voice was perfect for this song,” said guitarist Al Dams.
We agree. “Maria” sounds like it was written for him. It’s a song about anti-bullying that looks to morph into young love. With two winning singles in two months, we can’t wait to see what La Need Machine does next.
