Secret Night Gang unveils genre-blending new single ‘How to Love’

Manchester’s Secret Night Gang returns with their latest release, “How To Love”, a soulful, jazz-infused exploration of love’s complexities. Blending classic R&B with modern sensibilities, the track showcases the duo’s signature sound—one that has been celebrated throughout the UK scene.

Drawing inspiration from Prince, Bilal, and D’Angelo, “How To Love” seamlessly weaves together elements of R&B, soul, and jazz, resulting in a timeless yet contemporary groove. The production, helmed by Grammy-winning engineer Russell Elevado (D’Angelo, Erykah Badu) and mastered by Alex De Turk (PJ Morton, D’Angelo), gives the track an organic warmth and depth, elevating its rich sonic textures.

At its core, “How To Love” is an introspective and deeply personal take on love and connection. Lead vocalist Kemani Anderson delivers a stirring performance, capturing both the beauty and struggles of love. “Love is a beautiful gift,” Anderson reflects, “but it can also bring anger and frustration. Love isn’t easy, but it’s the best way of showing affection to the ones you care about.”

“How To Love” is just the beginning for the band, a second single and a new EP are on the horizon. If this latest release is any indication, Secret Night Gang is set to deliver more music that speaks to the soul, moves the body, and transcends genres.
