Shane Rennison unveils glittered debut album ‘Irrational’

Hailing from the beautiful mountains of the Catskills in Upstate New York, Shane Rennison’s scenic surroundings fuel a songwriting ability infused with honesty and heartfelt emotions. In his early days, Shane took to writing diverse covers, quickly catching the songwriting bug and pursuing the very best of his abilities.

The fruition of a years-long journey to musical excellence, Shane now unveils his debut album Irrational. Leaning into the indie-pop genre, Shane blends plenty of folk-driven acoustics for a sound that feels both graciously natural and powerfully danceable. Through these sonics, Shane can dictate a message of pure pop joy, whilst keeping a sense of authenticity and thoughtfulness around his music.

When the guitars and pianos are joined by glittery synths, sparkling electric guitar tones and grooving bass lines, Shane brings fluorescent energy to a sound so regal, songs like ‘Draggin’’, ‘Too Beautiful’ and ‘Long Road’ epitomise this. The softer tones of ‘I Think It’s You’ and ‘Where I’m at…’ are also grateful additions, giving Shane a chance to show the power of his voice and his poetic lyricism. Confident in his sound and unique truth, Shane puts together a fabulous eleven-track experience.

I’m so grateful I finally get to share this album,” Shane explains. “We’ve been working on it for about two years now, and it’s just so nice to put it out and move on creatively. I felt as though artists were getting away from full-length projects that flow from one song to another. It’s kind of a dated concept because, in the streaming era, you can start an album on any track you wish. So for this project, I wanted to create seamless transitions from one track to the next to create a really cohesive project that satisfied us as a whole.
