“Yeah time comes for us all” is a line from the chorus sung by Jeremy Parsons on his excellent new, innovative Americana single, “Tickin’,” which drops on October 28th, 2022. While the San Antonio-based artist is not the first to speak on the effect of time in the pandemic era, Jeremy does it like no other on the 3:46 song.
After the creative intro, Jeremy’s vocals shine on the brilliant production by Dustin Martin. The influential vocalist gives an exceptionally thrilling performance. Following the verse, the chorus turns epic and emotional:
“Clock is on the wall/And it keeps tickin’/Yeah time comes for us all/And keeps on tickin’.”
There are many standout, moments in the song, but the thought-provoking lyrics make the tune exceptionally memorable. Just when you think you have heard all there is to hear in the Americana genre, this one is not the same ol’ song. It’s going to haunt you. It’s going to make you ask yourself, “What exactly did I just hear?”
The time can’t tick fast enough until October 28th, when “Tickin'” hits stores.
