London-born artist SOFI NOVA dives deep into the emotional push-and-pull of love with “Limbo”. Fusing ethereal electronic R&B with introspective alt-pop, the singer created a sound that’s both intimate and immersive—somewhere between PinkPantheress and Kenya Grace.
Produced with George Gianluca in her bedroom studio, “Limbo” embodies the restless in-between, caught between holding on and letting go. The hypnotic beat pulses beneath Sofi’s soulful vocals, creating a track that’s perfect for late-night drives and quiet moments of reflection.
“I wrote ‘Limbo’ on an evening when I wanted to capture the moment of uncertainty—stuck in the unknowing about where things were going”, SOFI shares. “That fear of holding on too long, but not wanting to let go either.”
Following “Nothing Ever Changes” and “Our Love Is Dead“, “Limbo” sets the stage for SOFI’s debut EP, Heartbreak Chronicles, dropping July 14th—a collection of songs exploring love’s highs, lows, and everything in between.
