David Barenboim, famously known as Solarrio, is back at it after his full length album earlier this year with his latest single, “Can’t Wait,” set to drop on October 1st. If you thought his debut, “All the Wrong Places,” was impressive, get ready for this track that evolved his unique sound once again.
Born into a family steeped in classical music, Solarrio’s musical journey has taken him from the romantic streets of Paris to the vibes of Chicago and Berlin. In this melting pot of cultures, he picked up influences from pop, hip-hop, and electronic music, which now create the tapestry of his work.
“Can’t Wait” is a powerful anthem about seizing opportunities and letting go of anything holding you back. Co-written with Craig Walker, the song went through several changes before coming together, highlighting Solarrio’s artistic vision. He even mentions how the lyrics found their rightful home with a fresh melody, which really emphasises that serendipitous magic of music.
The track was also self produced by Solarrio, on just a latpop, showing that with the right skills you no longer need a big fancy studio to get a world-class sound. Listen below!
