Gitkin might not be a man of many words but he is a man of many sounds. The New Orleans-via-Brooklyn musician just released his new single, “Tall Oaks Drive.” The instrumental features shuffling funk drums, eerie vintage organ, and sitar. The mixture of national and international influences may seem on paper to be a bit mismatched but all works together nicely in practice.
The track will be featured on Gitkin’s upcoming album, Golden Age which will be released Oct 18th via Wonderwheel Recordings.
