The Color Forty Nine send satellites

On February 28th, The Color Forty Nine will release their new LP, A Whisper. Described by the band as “a collection of quieter songs,” we get our first taste with the single, “We Send Satellites.” The lovely ballad features baritone ukulele, drums, bass, and synths (ie, no guitar). The song feels personal and romantic as lead singer, Phil Beaumont implores “let’s get out tonight and go see the sights” in his hushed baritone croon.
