The Henry Ford Band are back with their cheery instrumentation and wholesome Indie songwriting to deliver their third album ‘Memories of a modern world‘. This project represents a bittersweet collection of memories for the band that many can relate to, from complicated relationships to the social issues of the current day. The album was recorded in The Audio Lounge, Glasgow and spanned from the start of the Pandemic to the end of Lockdown. The Henry Ford Band is a band with over 15 talented musicians based in and around Glasgow, Scotland. The collective was founded by John Hendry and Geoff Foord in 2016 and have grown since then, standing as a group of members in what they call the “late afternoon of their lives” and sharing this same ethos in each track. Predominantly working as a recording band, the group bring a lively feel to each of their tracks and are hoping to transfer this energy to more live shows in the future. Creating ‘Memories of a modern world’ during the pandemic have made this band stronger and more bonded than ever, opening new doors to them for the future.
