The Hourglass Effect Unveils New EP; Inner Ocean

What began as a chance meeting in a parking lot has blossomed into an extraordinary musical journey. Songwriter Drew Brashear’s encounter with vocalist Erin led to the creation of The Hourglass Effect, an independent, self-funded band branded by Classic Rock as “One of the most enticing and musically interesting bands to emerge from the Southeast” have now released their second project, Inner Ocean.

This immersive rock ‘n’ roll EP features the lead single Sunlight and Drew’s vocal debut on The Highway, showcasing his rustic storytelling style. Blending heartfelt lyrics with intricate instrumentation – guitar, mandolin, and banjo among them – the project highlights Erin’s emotive harmonies and producer Dave Hardman’s transformative expertise.

Fueled by reflection and the belief that “the sky is the limit,” Inner Ocean is an ode to life’s beauty and challenges.

Celebrate its release with a special vinyl edition, now available to order.
