The Soundtrack to Your Love Life? Trey Ewald’s “Every Other Month” Delivers

Trey Ewald

Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Trey Ewald has released his latest single, “Every Other Month”. Blending the nostalgia of early 2000s boy bands with contemporary pop, the track captures the highs and lows of modern dating with an infectious yet heartfelt sound.

Channelling the spirit of *NSYNC while incorporating the inventive stylings of Jon Bellion, “Every Other Month” dives into the emotional rollercoaster of fleeting romance and the frustrations of today’s fast-paced dating culture. With slick production and compelling lyrics, Ewald brings both energy and introspection to the track.

“I wanted to create something that felt both nostalgic and fresh,” Ewald shares. “I grew up loving 2000s boy bands, and this song reflects that influence while embracing a modern edge. It was written after a string of bad dates—at the time, I was frustrated, but looking back, I’m glad it led to this song!”

Marking this the first release of a new era, “Every Other Month” continues Ewald’s creative partnership with writer and producer Kayla Jo. The duo have previously collaborated on projects for The Voice’s Emily Bass and multi-instrumentalist Brayden Tabakian, and we are going to be hearing much more from them.

Originally from Long Island and now based in Los Angeles, Ewald has earned millions of streams as a songwriter while refining his own artistic identity. With this new single, he steps further into the spotlight, blending his expertise in pop production with raw, relatable storytelling.

“Every Other Month” is available now on all major streaming platforms.
