Canadian Rock and Roll band Propter Hawk return to unveil ‘Time Won’t Wait,’ which is the first single from their upcoming EP ‘Time Won’t Wait.’
‘Time Won’t Wait’ begins with catchy riffs and then Propter Hawk deliver stirring vocals as they craft this powerful song.
This track showcases their evolved sound and reminds people who they are after a period of focusing on playing live and touring.
Drawing lyrical inspiration from the chaos of today’s political world and the instrumentation of the glory days of juiced up folk-rock.
Staying true to their roots, Propter Hawk embraced live, tape-recorded sessions at Pineship Sound in Toronto and used a bent and broken, 100 year old, family heirloom to record the jaunty harmonica harmony featured on the track.
“That guitar solo is completely improvised and is the way I’ve played it at every show since. Not bad for the supposed rhythm guitarist!” mused Guitarist/Vocalist Jimmy Ruddock.
Though Propter Hawk began as a vehicle for writing drunken protest songs in a dimly lit Scarborough townhouse.
It wasn’t long before they transformed into a fully fledged plan to bring rock and roll into the modern age.
