Unknown Mortal Orchestra have shared a new track called ‘Not In Love We’re Just High‘.
It’s the second single from their forthcoming album Sex & Food and follows the previously released cut ‘American Guilt‘. ‘Not In Love We’re Just High‘ examines relational confusion induced by drugs (or simply mania) with the couple at the centre of the song realising that they’re not actually in love, they are indeed simply high. Although this realisation may seem sad it can also be liberating.
The new track also arrived with an accompanying set of visuals. Check out the track and watch the video beneath.
Sex & Food is due for release on 6th April via Jagjaguwar.
