Skytinual's Lead Single on Upcoming Albums Tackles Themes of Renewal and Hope Amidst Global Challenges

After two decades away from the music industry, celebrated drummer-turned-solo artist Skytinual, formerly known as Dave Bush, announces the release of his highly anticipated single, “Changing Light.” Available on all streaming platforms on November 8, 2024, the single marks the first release from his upcoming albums under Peace Army Music, setting the stage for an artistic revival that delves into love, resilience, and social issues amidst an ever-challenging global landscape.

As a former drummer to Grammy-winning artists, including performances with well-known figures like Larry Coryell, Joe Bouchard, and Dr. Luke, Skytinual built a reputation for genre-defying collaborations and musical versatility.

Now, after years out of the spotlight, he returns with a fresh perspective on modern-day issues. His new music explores the challenges of contemporary society, including climate change, love, and individual resilience, with the single “Changing Light” offering a heartfelt glimpse into the renewed purpose and urgency driving his return.

“On this razor edge of time
Soon to pass
So many futures will collide
Well are we living
Are we dying
Which is right?
Fading fast
In the endless dark of night.”

-Some introspective lyrics from “Changing Light”
