Visionary artist LUXLEY puts it ‘All On The Line’

New Orleans-based artist LUXLEY has been keeping things interesting over the few past years, constantly innovating with new sounds and ideas while showcasing his unique take on melodic, electronic music. The producer released his debut EP Spirit via Rude Fox Records in 2016, and followed it up with a handful of releases last year, expanding his unique catalog of dance floor-ready productions.

LUXLEY’s unmatched creativity is driven by a rare condition called chromesthesia, which allows him to see sound in color; drawing the path to his recent single and first release of 2020, “All On The Line”. Yet another display of LUXLEY’s talent, the single starts off with a trippy, energized beat filled with rolling basslines and otherworldly vocals, before flipping itself 180 degrees and exploding into a future bass drop. Beyond his stunning production on “All On The Line”, LUXLEY’s artistic vision is further displayed through the photography and artistic direction paired with the song, featuring himself covered in silver, metallic paint, a metaphor for blind faith and a mirror to the soul.

“Throughout history, we have seen silver symbolically used as a relic, representing triumph over evil, purity, and hope. More commonly, we see the color silver reflected in technology (medical and hardware devices, industrial materials). I initially chose this color because my chromesthesia causes me to see it when I hear the song.” – Luxley
